That no cessation of its progress may be incurred, let us consider what can be done to help our utilities. This industry merits and should have our serious thought." Suggestions for Changes in National Electrical Code Solicited The National Electrical Code is revised every two years, but under the present arrangement the standing committees are continually in session ready to take up any suggested changes which will improve the code.. It is important that suggestions for changes be forwarded to W. H. Blood, Jr., the Insurance Expert, N.E.L.A., who is the Association representative on the Electrical Committee of the National Fire Protection Association. Indefinite statements of the inadequacy of any of the rules are not of much value, but constructive criticism with definite suggestions are welcome. The present method of revising the code by means of having standing committees always ready to hear suggestions and of having technical sub-committees to whom intricate problems can be referred is a logical procedure, and if this machinery is utilized anyone who has definite suggestions to present may be assured that they will have careful consideration. Mr. Blood announces that he will be glad at any time to receive suggestions and to see that they have the best attention possible.
